Based in our Shepherd’s View Young Parents’ Project, Derry/Londonderry

£24,696 per annum; 37.5 hours per week (shift rota basis)

You will work for a leading voluntary sector, non-profit making organisation that provides professional advice on housing in Northern Ireland and solutions for people who find themselves in housing difficulties.
Our Shepherd’s View Young Parents’ Project provides supported accommodation for young parents aged 16-25yrs.

You will work in partnership with parents and children, in an accommodation setting, developing supportive relationships that empower and enable them to maximise their potential as individuals and as parents.

What we Need from You

Minimum Criteria (a Full Job Description and Personnel Specification is available in the Candidate Information Pack)

• Minimum of three GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language.
• A relevant qualification in Health and Social Care or related field (minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent)
• At least two years recent experience of working in accommodation or community work setting, providing support to vulnerable young people aged 16-25 years and/or children 0-5 years.
• IT skills

It should be noted that the criteria for this post may be enhanced to facilitate short listing.
