7733 Saturday Club Leader - Choices for Children Play for All

Barnardo's Play for All Saturday Clubs are for children with learning difficulties, sensory impairments and medical conditions between the ages of five and twelve. The children can bring along a sibling, cousin or friend. The aim of the clubs is to provide play and fun activities for the children, to assist in the development of their self-esteem and to provide lasting health and wellbeing benefits. The clubs are run on a membership only basis to ensure that we can safely meet the needs of the children attending.

The post is for ten hours a month September to June and you will be paid on an annualised basis over twelve months. The annual Full Time Equivalent (FTE) salary for this post is £17,316 or £9 per hour. You will lead a small team of approved Barnardo's volunteers and your role will include club preparation, and keeping records. You will be provided with ongoing support including group meetings with other Club leaders.
