21325 - Social Worker (Project Worker 3) - Newry

The service is funded by the Southern Health and Social Care Trust and Barnardo's, to deliver a range of assessment and  therapeutic services to children and families.

If you have a desire to undertake assessments and work therapeutically with children, young people and families to improve longer term outcomes for children, and you are you a qualified (Not in AYE) Social Worker with experience of working in a family and child care setting,  we would like to hear from you. 

We are looking for suitably experienced staff who:

• are interested in developing meaningful relationships with children and adults;
• can work effectively as part of a wider team;
• support individuals and families to achieve their potential;
• maintain a strength based approach;
• are committed to ongoing professional development opportunities; and
• can work flexibly to meet the needs of children.

Hours:  This is Permanent Part -Time/ 29.6 hpw post working in the Southern Trust Locality areas.

Salary: £34,696 - £42,541 FTE
