Research Officer - Refugee Family Integration (based in NI Regional Office) Full Time

This post is funded for 9 months from start date

The successful candidate will carry out research into Barnardo's work with refugee children who have come to Northern Ireland via the Syrian Vulnerable Person's Relocation Scheme.  The Research Officer will carry out original research and present their findings to inform our practice working with this vulnerable group and other refugee children across the UK.

This project has been part funded by the European Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund. Making management of migration flows more efficient across the European Union

Supplementary Information

Travel may be required to participate in team meetings, supervision and training.

Location: Barnardo's (NI) Regional Office, 542-544 Upper Newtownards Road, Belfast BT4 3HE

Hours: 36.25 per week (full time)

Fixed Term: Funding is fixed for 9 months from successful candidate's start date

Salary: £30,298.23 FTE

*Starting salary is generally at the beginning of the pay band however, further consideration will be given to exceptional candidates
