The Drink Wise Age Well project are continuing to provide support at this time.

Currently all groups and face to face sessions have been postponed but we are providing telephone support and a listening ear for older adults who have/have had issues with alcohol and are finding the current situation particularly difficult or stressful. We aim to reduce those feelings of loneliness and isolation.

We cover the whole of WHSCT area. We are accepting new referrals and we are providing existing and new clients with regular telephone and check in call support on both a daily and weekly basis and more in depth structured telephone support sessions if required. We are also looking into widening our platforms of telephone support.

People can gain support by contacting the team on our main office number on 028 828 39240 to discuss support or make a referral. Project opening times are Monday to Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-3.30pm We also have a web chat available at: https://drinkwiseagewell.org.uk/webchat/
