Dementia NI

Dementia NI invites you to a special event in conjunction with Ards and North Down Borough Council. Now going into its 3rd year, ‘Learning from those who live with dementia’, is a unique event brought to life as Dementia NI members share real-life experiences of living with dementia to help explain what support they need, in the hope that everyone will become more understanding and accepting of the symptoms of dementia. Their aim: To challenge associated negative assumptions in the hope that others will be more accepting, tolerant of the symptoms, and helpful towards people living with the condition.

National Children's Bureau

NCB ensures that children and young people’s views and experiences guide every aspect of our work, helping us to inform policy and practice in order to bring about lasting change for children and young people, families and communities. We do this to fulfil our obligations for the promotion of the rights of all children and young people, recognising that young people are experts in their own lives and that their direct input into issues affecting them is critical in developing services which are fit for purpose.
