The Action Trauma team is excited to bring you our first-ever hybrid event: Young Hearts & Minds Conference 2021. This is a one-day conference running on both the 20th and 21st October 2021. Choose which day works best for you to attend. The conference will bring together a wealth of knowledge, experience, and research from some of the world’s leading experts in complex trauma and trauma recovery.
Young Hearts & Minds is for everyone who has a passion for the well-being and mental health of children and young people. Take this opportunity to listen to progressive techniques and explore new methodologies on how to start the healing process and beat the long-term effects of early trauma, which can have a serious impact on a child’s development, throughout their youth, and into adulthood. Decarbonising homes is central to achieving that target and there is an urgent need to address the carbon emissions produced in heating and powering domestic properties. While the electricity powering lighting and appliances is decarbonising fast, the majority of homes still rely on burning fossil fuels for heating, hot water and cooking. This course will provide an introduction to the role domestic scale renewable technologies can play in reducing carbon emissions.
