A Creative Experiential Workshop using Miniature Animals

This projective technique can facilitate reflection on and insight in to the key players of clients internal world and interpersonal relationships.

It has a wide use in addressing shame and the inner critic, low self-esteem/ low self confidence, fear and anxiety.

At each workshop there will be the opportunity to:
• Enhance your ability to assess and address related issues
• Apply learning through experiential work
• Gain valuable insight about yourself and your clients
• Network with other counsellors

About the Facilitator
Valerie Adams qualified as a Psychosynthesis Therapeutic Counsellor at The Institute of Psychosynthesis in London.
She has been running her private practice in Therapeutic Counselling in Ballymena for the past 20 years.
She is a qualified supervisor and offers supervision to individuals and small groups.
Valerie worked as a part-time tutor for 12 years at NRC, training all levels up to and including Level 6.
She is passionate about her work and enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience.
Valerie ensures that the workshop environment is conducive to optimal learning and offers a professional, respectful and relaxed setting.
Theoretical Approach
Workshops are based on ideas and concepts from Psychodynamic, Person-centred, Psychosynthesis and Existential approaches.
