Working & Caring Through Covid: How the pandemic has affected workers' mental health

ADR Northern Ireland

Administrative Data Research Centre Northern Ireland

This is a free event
As part of the Administrative Data Research Centre Northern Ireland (part of ADR Northern Ireland) Symposium Series, this seminar will bring together researchers, service providers, policymakers and frontline workers to explore how we can shape our research to help us better understand the intersection between work and mental health, and how the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted workers and carers.

Researchers from Ulster University, Impact Research Centre and the Northern Health and Social Care Trust will share results from studies into how mental ill health varies by occupation, how reduced working hours during COVID has affected mental health, and the impacts of the pandemic on mental health in health and social care staff. We'll also hear from key stakeholders like UNISON, We Make Events NI and Carers NI on their experiences, how the research could be used to improve their lives, and what issues need to be prioritised for further research.

This is a free, virtual event via Zoom. Register here.
