WHERE TO NEXT FOR SECURITY OF TENURE IN NORTHERN IRELAND'S PRIVATE RENTED SECTOR. ONLINE SEMINAR.

Housing Rights

Housing Rights

Cost: Housing Rights Members £45, Non-Members £55
With the first major piece of legislation to improve the private rented sector due to begin its passage through the NI Assembly this Autumn, Housing Rights is hosting a policy seminar to look in closer detail at the provisions in the Bill which relate to security of tenure.

The timely event will also address learning about what more we can do to support landlords and tenants as we emerge from the pandemic, which has brought into sharp focus the issues with security of tenure, standards and affordability experienced by private renters, as they face the additional hit of the end of support from the furlough scheme and the cut to Universal Credit, both set to take place by the end of September.

Attendees will hear from a range of speakers from here in Northern Ireland and from across the UK, sharing learning about approaches in other jurisdictions and the perspectives of key stakeholders.

This event will be of interest to:

  • Tenants
  • Landlords/agents
  • Political representatives
  • Policy makers
  • Government & statutory organisations

Early bird rate:  10% off for bookings placed on or before 8th September.
