This is a fantastic opportunity to attend a one day Community Walk Leader training course run by Walking In Your Community. This training will provide you with the skills to lead short, accessible, community walks within your local area

About the Event

Walking In Your Community in conjunction with the Sperrins Gateway Landscape Partnership are hosting a one day Community Walk Leader Training Course, Saturday 1st February 2014, Springhill National Trust House, Moneymore. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals to learn about the essential skills needed to lead short, safe and accessible walks within their local community.

Community Leaders and Volunteers would benefit greatly from attending this even as it encourages communities to get walking while at the same time, encourages friendships to be made, and improves physical and mental health.

*Cancellations

Whilst we hope to provide this training free of charge for community leaders and volunteers, due to the limited number of places, if you are unable to attend the course, you are required to cancel 1 week prior to the course date. Failure to do so will result in a charge of £45 per person.
