Six Week Mindfulness Programme

Much of the time, we can live our lives on autopilot, everyday pressures can cause unconscious emotional and physiological reactions, we need practice to actively cultivate the skill of awareness so that we can experience the benefits of a more mindful way of living. As you become aware of your emotions, you learn to become an observer of negative thought patterns. This reduces anxiety and helps cultivate a stress response rather than stress reactivity which in turn improves your sleep patterns, general wellbeing and will help stabilize your mood. AWARE’s Mindfulness Programme also helps to cultivate self-compassion, it helps you to relax and recharge and means that you are kinder to yourself and others. Throughout the six weeks, Frank Liddy (AWARE’s Mindfulness practitioner) will teach you tools to improve your focus, reduce your stress levels and increase your creativity. Evidence of course hours can be provided for CPD or PDP purposes.
