Problem Gambling Awareness Training OCN Level 1

This training event will take place during Safer Gambling Week and is open to anyone with an interest in the subject. It looks at the reasons why people may gamble, and when it may become a problem, the impacts of this on the individual, family and wider community, ways to reduce or stop gambling, and where to find support for those affected.
Dunlewey Addiction Services offer a free of charge problem gambling helpline and counselling service for anyone affected.
Training aims to raise awareness of problem gambling, its impacts, and where to find help and support.
This is a remote learning event using Ambition, the Open College Network online learning platform. Learners gain 1 credit at level 1 on completion of short assessment tasks during the event. Course fee: £60
