Positive Futures

Positive Futures

This is a free event
Come and find out about our job opportunities, meet the team, apply for roles and even be interviewed at the event.

Positive Futures, a leading local learning disability, acquired brain injury and autistic spectrum condition charity, which provides a range of support services for children, young people, adults and their families is experiencing a period of sustained growth.  We are looking to recruit caring and patient people to help us provide much needed support to increasing numbers of people.

We will be in Omagh on the Monday 16 September at the Community House from 4pm-8pm.  At the event you will be able to talk to members of our staff to find out about the opportunities we have available in the area, what the roles involve and about Positive Futures asan employer.  If you are interested in any of the roles you will be able to apply during the event and, if short listed attend and interview there and then, or schedule one for a later date if preferred.   Please allow plenty of time at the event for this to happen.

More Information

If you think you might like to apply for a role and possibly be interviewed on the day please ensure you allow enough time at the event for this to happen.  We estimate an application might take up to an hour and a typical interview lasts 45 minutes.

What to bring to an interview:

If you are offered a position you will be asked to supply a number of documents.  These are to verify your identity, show you are eligible to work in the UK and for an AccessNI check.  You should also show evidence of your qualifications and membership of a professional body, if these are a requirement of the role.   If you are offered a role where driving or having a car insured for business purposes is a requirement you will also need to show your driving licence and car insurance.

To speed up the pre-employment checks process we ask people invited to interview bring the following documents.

For proof of eligibility to work in the UK,  identity verification and an AccessNI check please bring to interview:

  • A valid passport AND
  • A birth, adoption or marriage certificate AND
  • A payslip or P45 (issued in the last six months) OR P60 (issued in the last 12 months) OR proof of address (e.g. bank or mortgage statement or utility bill issued within the last six months)

If applicable please also bring to interview:

  • Driving licence
  • Car insurance certificate
  • Qualifications or details of membership of a professional body

Please bring originals and not photocopies.  If you are unable to bring any of the documents to interview you will be asked to provide them at a later date.  If you have any questions please call the HR team on 02891 475720.

If you do not start a role in Positive Futures the organisation will destroy any copies of documents in line with our retention policy.
