Do you have BAME (Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic) families that attend your setting? Would you like more information about different cultures living in your area and how you can support them in your setting?
In recent years there has been a growth of families from different traditions and cultural backgrounds settling here in Northern Ireland. School Age Childcare settings are therefore welcoming children, parents and families from BAME backgrounds now, more than ever before. This webinar will support staff to explore and share experiences on how we can best create positive spaces where children can interact, experience and understand each other in a fun and playful way.
Please note: Places are limited to two people, per setting, per session and are filled on a first come, first served basis.

Decarbonising homes is central to achieving that target and there is an urgent need to address the carbon emissions produced in heating and powering domestic properties. While the electricity powering lighting and appliances is decarbonising fast, the majority of homes still rely on burning fossil fuels for heating, hot water and cooking. This course will provide an introduction to the role domestic scale renewable technologies can play in reducing carbon emissions.
