RCN presents this talk as part of its Rural Shared History Project - “100 years of change”
Broadcaster and Historian Dr. David Hume looks at the formative years of Northern Ireland and examines the Road to Partition in 1921.
He will examine the proposals for Home Rule from 1886 onwards, the crucial events that lead to Partition, and explore some of the personalities involved in this momentous period in modern Irish history.
David is the author of several historian studies and is co-presenter of the history series ‘The Long and the Short of it’ on BBC Radio Ulster.
