This course will enable advisers to assist claimants from abroad as to their entitlement to benefits.
This course will give advisers an understanding of:
- Different categories of migrants;
- EU law and how and when it applies to migrants and their family members;
- What entitlements migrants have to public services including health and social car:
- A detailed understanding of migrants’ benefit entitlement including the relevant residence / presence tests for different benefits.
The course is very interactive and includes a focus on case studies as well as practical tips and strategies. It aims to break down a complex area of law into clear, straightforward and useful information.
