MindWise is delighted to offer employers an opportunity to train their staff as Mental Health First Aiders.
What does this mean?
Staff will learn how to recognise common mental health issues and understand how to provide non-judgemental support. They will be equipped to help a person who may be developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem or in a mental health crisis.
Like emergency first aid, this Mental Health First Aid course teaches people how to offer initial support until appropriate professional help is received or until the crisis resolves.
Supporting employees' health and wellbeing will result in lower levels of sickness and absenteeism, a happier workforce who feel valued and respected, as well as better outcomes for your business and customers & clients.
Attendance at both dates is required.
