Making the Future
The Making the Future project will host an online information evening on Wednesday 21st October with details on its upcoming activities and how groups and individuals can get involved with innovative programming.

Are you involved in a community group? Do you represent an organisation? Interested in exploring the past through creative programming?

Making the Future will host an online information evening on Wednesday 21st October with details on its upcoming activities and how groups and individuals can get involved with innovative programming.

Up to 1,500 people have engaged in our programmes so far, learning how to archive, develop their research skills and get experience in filmmaking, photography, visual arts, virtual reality, music and more - all while reflecting on some of the major issues of our past and our present.

Making the Future is a cultural heritage project from the Nerve Centre, National Museums NI, Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI) and the Linen Hall Library. Together, using our collections, archives and extensive experience in digital technology, we enable participants to have their voice heard in a meaningful, creative way to share with future generations.

What to expect:

- Find out how Making the Future is exploring the centenary of Partition and the Formation of Northern Ireland

- Be the first to hear about 100 Shared Stories, an exciting new project from PRONI using the archives to explore emerging themes from the last 100 years

- Get involved in our artistic programmes reflecting on our history of Conflict to Peace

- Register your interest for our Cultural Fusion film club and explore world cinema

- Learn about our upcoming youth programmes in music, visual effects, illustration and comic book art and how you can get involved

This event is free to attend and will be delivered online via Zoom. Following registration you will receive a link to join the event. For more information on the project visit: www.makingthefuture.eu
