MACC Hub Flexible Fund Virtual Sandpits

Northern Ireland Environment Link
The MACC Hub Flexible Fund call will fund up to 10 projects, each receiving £50-55,000 for up to 12 months. Lead applicants must be based at a UK academic institution eligible for UKRI funding. The call strongly encourages academic-community collaborations, with the lead partner working in close partnership with local organisations such as community groups, local authorities, businesses and third sector organisations. Other stakeholder groups may be involved where relevant to the project goals. Projects should be:
- Grounded in meaningful community engagement
- Focused on implementing or scaling adaptation actions
- Centred on vulnerable groups most at risk from climate change
We are hosting two online interactive sessions, designed to introduce the call, support project idea development, and help connect potential collaborators. Both sessions will be covering the same content to give participants flexibility in choosing a date that suits them best. You only need to attend one session.
Dates are:
- 18th June 1:30 – 3:30pm
- 8th July 10:00am – 12:00pm
