Habitat ReStore Northern Ireland
Habitat ReStore is a social enterprise which sells donated new and used building and home improvement material. The shop and donation centre are open Tuesday – Saturday at 113 Dublin Road, Newry, beside Supervalu.
Since opening, 6 years ago in Lisburn and 2 years ago in Ballymena, Habitat ReStore has delivered real impacts for local people and the wider community helping thousands of families improve their homes at low cost.
ReStore also provides volunteering and learning opportunities for people of all backgrounds and abilities, improving well-being and it diverts tons of reusable material from landfill, protecting the environment.
Jenny Williams, Chief Executive of Habitat NI, said: 'We are delighted to open Habitat ReStore in Newry and so much appreciate all the local support which has helped to make it possible. ReStore is a unique workplace which engages people of all ages and backgrounds in serving the wider community.'
