Introduction to Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) Awareness

Nexus
Do you work with children in young people in Northern Ireland? Would you recognise the signs that a child may be experiencing sexual exploitation? Would you know the law and how to report your concerns?
Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) is prevelant in Northern Ireland and this session will help develop your awareness and understanding of what CSE is, the intense grooming process and the ways in which a child might be groomed and exploited. It will increase your confidence on how to recognise and respond to the indicators of CSE and be aware of the current legislation and child safeguarding policies and support mechanisms that you can refer to.
Our aim is to help #BreakTheCycle of sexual abuse and abusive relationships.
