With this session we aim to increase your confidence to be able to recognise, appropriately respond to, and support someone impacted by rape and sexual abuse.

Rape & sexual abuse is an incredibly traumatic event that often is not disclosed and still remains a hidden epidemic.  However, those who have experienced rape or sexual abuse will live with the impact which can manifest in many ways.

This session will explore the multi types of sexual abuse that you might not be aware of.  It will look at the prevelance of rape and sexual abuse in the UK and Ireland and how someone might be impacted and what those indicators might be.  With a view to increasing your confidence to be able to recognise, appropriately respond and refer the person to specialist support should they wish.

Our aim is to help #BreakTheCycle of sexual abuse and abusive relationships.

This course is CPD accredited and has 30 spaces.
