How We Have Empowered Young People: Stories from Engage Grant Holders
National Children's Bureau
The Big Lottery Fund’s Reaching Out: Empowering Young People programme has supported grant holders working with young people most at risk across Northern Ireland. For the programme, the Big Lottery Fund identified 'at risk' young people as those who are:
- in care, leaving care or who have been in care
- engaging, or at risk of engaging, in criminal activity
- disengaged from education
This event will be an opportunity for Engage grant holders to showcase the work of their Big Lottery Funded projects and the impact of that work in empowering young people. The event will include a number of presentations from Engage grant holders and an exhibition space where the grant holders will be able to showcase their achievements.
This event is intended for adults who work with children and young people, those who fund children's services and policy makers.
To attend the event as an audience member, please book via the Eventbrite link below before 9th May 2018:
Please note that the event will run from 10am until 1pm with lunch provided and, while the event is free, booking is essential for catering and organisation purposes.
