Faith-based organisations in Northern Ireland have an important and distinctive place and reach in society, playing an important role in communities. So it is vital to raise funds and support the work you do. From finding the right funder for your organisation to completing the application process, it is essential to know what funders are looking for and what’s behind successful applications.

Identifying the right funder, filling out the application properly, and providing all the information required are just three key elements to a successful funding bid. But many funding applications are unsuccessful because the proposed idea isn’t suitable for a specific funder, the application form is incomplete, required documents are missing, questions are not answered fully, or the applicant hasn’t expressed their ideas adequately.

This session, suitable for a range of fundraisers within the faith sector, explores how to bring these key elements together to form a successful funding application and improve your chances of gaining crucial funds.
