'Murmur' delves into the connection of migration and selfhood, looking at the subtle changing relationship within one's identity and nature. 'Murmur' questions our faint sense of belonging in the landscape from which we are woven.
Travelling to Kuwait, the sense of an all-consuming social identity within young Kuwaitis, resulted in the comparison of my native land - influenced by layers of historic conflict prominent within both regions. These elements resulted in reflecting upon a personal sense of identity within the Northern Irish landscape.
Through the experimentation of materiality, I follow my lineage through the Northern Irish landscape, in hopes of uncovering a deeper sense of understanding of my homeland and myself.
