Evening Mosaics 8 Week Course (North Belfast)
WOMEN'STEC
This is an opportunity to make your own unique retro, mosaic-topped table while at the same time learn the skills and techniques of this ancient craft. The course involves 8 x 3 hour sessions with expert guidance to complete your personalised table.
Your tutor, Geraldine, is highly experienced in the craft of Mosaics and has trained in the Italian region of Ravenna, famous for its well-preserved late Roman and Byzantine architecture. Geraldine studied at the Mosaic Art School under the expert tutelage of mosaic master Luciana Notturni and her team. Geraldine has been teaching mosaics since her return to Belfast, undertaken commissions for Belfast, Armagh and Lisburn City Councils and is a tutor at WOMEN’STEC since 2015.
At a cost of only £150 you will be provided with a table and all tools and materials including mosaic tiles, grout and paint for the metal legs. Table dimension approx: top 23” X 18” / height 28”.
To ensure you receive individual attention, places will be limited to 10.
The course will start Thursday, 20th September, 6pm-9pm and will run for 8 weeks. Venue WOMEN’STEC, 29 Chichester Avenue, Belfast, BT15 5EH.
