Domestic and Sexual Abuse - Supporting Young People

Nexus - Breaking the Cycle of Sexual Abuse and Abusive Relationships

Nexus

Cost: £35 per person
Gain increased awareness of the impact of domestic and sexual abuse on young people to help you respond to disclosures, tackle victim blaming, and best support the young people in your life.

Would you like to increase your awareness of young people's experience of domestic and sexual abuse and improve your confidence on how to respond to a young person who discloses that they have lived experience of abuse?

This session aims to increase your awareness and prevalence of domestic and sexual abuse and explores the dynamics and impact of grooming and coercive control and how it impacts young people.

Having a more in-depth understanding of domestic and sexual abuse, risk and safety, will enable you to respond appropriately to disclosures, minimising victim blaming and how best to support the person who has opened up to you.

This session has 30 spaces.
