Country Hits & Heart

Brain Injury Matters

⭐ Country Hits and Heart is an evening with Auburn McCormick, where she will be sharing her inspirational journey of hope and resilience after sustaining a traumatic brain injury at the age of 12 when an 18-wheeler lorry ploughed into the back of her father’s car on her way to high school, leaving her in a coma.
At the age of 15 after being told she may never sing again, Auburn worked hard to prove her doctors wrong which ignited her love for music even more. As she learned to play the guitar and started writing songs, Auburn began studying music in Nashville, Tennessee, splitting her time between Austin, Texas, and Nashville. This is where Auburn developed her own style of music influenced by stars like Carrie Underwood.
Now, Auburn is using her platform to give back. She is performing a benefit concert for Brain Injury Matters, a charity dedicated to supporting individuals affected by acquired brain injuries. Through her music and advocacy, Auburn McCormick exemplifies the power of resilience and the impact of using one's talents to make a difference.
