Community Painting Day with storytelling at Glas-na-Bradan Wood

Woodland Trust Northern Ireland

Woodland Trust Northern Ireland

This is a free event
Pick up a paint brush and help us to decorate our storage container this summer.

Many of you have helped us plant the new woodland at Glas-na-Bradan Wood so far, now this is your chance to represent your planted trees by contributing to this art project along with others who have helped to plant our new woodland. No art skills are necessary as we will have the artists on site to help us, so all are welcome to take part. We will also be joined by storyteller Eamonn who will be sharing stories suitable for all the family about the importance of woodland creation and biodiversity for our native wildlife and people. Booking is essential and this activity is weather dependant.

The event will include a 30-40 minute uphill walk to reach the container which is located 1.5km up the track of the site.

No skill/experience is necessary, we just ask that you take guidance from the artists to help ensure your contribution fits with the overall vision for the mural.

Please wear old clothes which you don't mind getting dirty.

This event is weather dependant- we may contact you at short notice to reschedule this event as the paint cannot be applied in the rain.
