This course explores all aspects of housing, broadening your knowledge of how your role fits into the wider housing environment, gain insights into improving customer service and greater insight into policy & practice issues directly affecting your role.
who is it for?- front line housing workers who want to develop their skills and officers or advisers who wish to build or refresh their skills.

• Housing and young people
• Professional practice skills for housing
• Preventing and managing rent arrears
• Involving housing service users
course duration - delivered over 12 months by a mix of self-directed learning through our dedicated e-learn site and face to face training sessions, offering you a perfect blend of learning. There are approx. 10 one-day training sessions and learners will be required to complete written assignments for each unit.
funding - Asset Skills NI funding of up to 75% of the course fees can now be accessed by employers of learners studying for a CIH Level 3 programme delivered by the CIH Northern Ireland learning centre in 2014. Funding is limited and will be subject to approval on key criteria by Asset Skills * You will be eligible to apply if you are:
• An employee of a Housing Association in NI
• An employee of any other organisation in NI whose core funding from public bodies does not exceed 50%
• Your organisation employs less than 250 staff
• You do not hold a housing-related qualification at Level 4 or above.
