Testimonials

“The sessions were really informative with lots of learns to work on and ideas to implement. It was good to get to spend time with other charities in that open setting too. It’s also a chance to meet representatives from businesses that you probably wouldn’t get to engage with otherwise This network was real value for money, particularly the last session which gave so much insight and practical tips to approach and engage with charities. It was good to learn more about how Business in the Community engage with charities and the framework you provide to businesses.” Therese Wilson, Events & Area Fundraising Manager (NI), Mencap

“Genuine thanks for the input and challenge when we met at our Charity Learning Network. Having your initial perspective and input regarding our relationship with the corporate world is of real value as we move into a new chapter.” Dave Morton APM MBA, Operations Manager, Quaker Service

“I’d recommend Business in the Community’s Learning Network- it was great learning and brilliant networking. The key take-aways for me were: making personal connections, highlighting what we as a charity can offer companies and how to keep the relationships going once a partnership has ended”. Louise Richardson, Fundraising Officer, Cancer Focus
