1.0 JOB PURPOSE:
1.1 To work part of team to develop, support the delivery the Emerging Young Leaders (EYL) Project
2.0 MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
2.1 Have operational responsibility for developing and delivering the Emerging Young Leaders (EYL) Programme through a range of teaching methods.
2.2 To liaise closely with NIYF staff and management to ensure the smooth running of the EYL Programme;
2.3 To liaise closely with NIYF staff and management on other youth participatory programmes
2.4 Work directly with young people; particularly those who face significant barriers to employment and deliver a programme which includes peer leadership, an overseas element, mentoring, personal development, work placements, experiential learning and accredited training
2.5 Lead a youth group on an intensive overseas leadership and development programme
2.6 To provide regular reports to NIYF Executive Committee, funders and other key partners on projects when necessary
2.7 To Actively work to engage key community based and youth participative structures in the work of NIYF
2.8 To support programme participants on campaigning for change
2.9 To take an active role in the fund raising process for NIYF, including actively seeking funds and making bids to support work.
2.10 To represent NIYF at strategic and policy levels as directed.
