The Northern Ireland Police Fund is seeking to fill the Assessment Officer vacancy through the Interchange secondment programme. The role is for one year initially with the possibility of a further two year extension.
About the role
The postholder will report to the Head of Assessment and will exercise a high degree of autonomy for his/her own work area. The Assessment Officer will meet with clients and be the direct point of contact between the Fund and its potential beneficiaries across NI. They will conduct home visits, write up applications and make recommendations to approve or decline these. It is essential that applicants have access to a suitable form of transport to allow them to fulfil the requirements of the post which will involve extensive travel throughout NI.
