On behalf of our client, a leading enterprise agency in North Belfast, we are seeking a P/T Maintenance Officer to provide caretaking/maintenance duties over 2 sites.
Hours of work: Fridays 9.00am – 9.00pm as well as covering for holiday/sick leave.

Temping position

-Duration: not known but could potentially be long term

-Wage: £8.00 per hr

- Location: 2 sites in North Belfast

 1.         Purpose of Job

 To provide caretaking/maintenance duties at our client’s 2 sites, to ensure that staff, tenants and visitors enjoy a clean, safe and secure environment at work

 2.         Key Responsibilities

 Main duties include:

  •  Opening and closing of sites, to include  buildings, shutters and office building as required, set alarms and report any observations regarding maintenance or security throughout the Business Park

Identify and report any maintenance requirements on site and maintain a record, site cleaning and general upkeep

  •  Keep all areas of the Business Park (internal and external) including general storage areas clean, tidy, free from litter and debris at all times

 

  • Record maintenance requests from tenants and bring to the attention of Maintenance Supervisor.

     

  • Record any breaches of security and report all incidents in the security log and report to Maintenance Supervisor.

     

  • Ensure that waste is managed around the site.

 

  • Reception duties

     

  • Work in partnership with other Maintenance Staff/Interim General Manager to ensure that adequate and appropriate maintenance/caretaker cover is provided at all times and that the property adheres to all regulatory requirements

     

  • Communicate with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure that they are fully aware of all issues and activities regarding maintenance, safety and security of the site

     

  • Maintain a professional image of the company through a high standard of service to customers, tenants and visitors cover at all times

 

  • Work with the Maintenance Supervisor in order to carry out duties as required to include: painting, removals, cleaning, gardening type duties and general DIY, this list is not exhaustive.

     

  • Any other duties as requested by Maintenance Supervisor/Management.

     

Criteria

The successful candidate must have a clean driving licence and their own transport
