Boys & Girls Clubs NI is a Voluntary Youth Headquarter Organisation that works to support and represent a membership of over 150 youth clubs and youth organisations with a collective membership of some 15,000 young people across Northern Ireland.

Working alongside our membership and network we involve, support and enable young people, particularly those from disadvantaged and less fortunate backgrounds, to participate in positive activities and new experiences and learning opportunities.

We create challenging and enjoyable learning environments that support and enable young people to gain a sense of achievement and success and to experience diversity in a deeply divided northern Irish society.  We engage young people and those who work on their behalf in the creation and maintenance of good relations within and across local communities.  We seek to encourage and enable young people to realise their full potential, to enjoy being young and to contribute and develop as caring and responsible members of a fair society.

Current programmes and priorities include: Healthy Lifestyles, Youth Sports & Competitions; Training & Development Projects; Youth Participation & Social Action; Creative Arts, and Information & Support Services for young people and those who work on their behalf.

Our work with young people is varied and diverse – reflective of individual needs, aspirations, interests and sense of personal and cultural identity.  We aim to inspire and create the conditions that enable young people to be their best in the pursuit of shared goals.

This is the purpose of Clubs for Young People – it is our journey – it is what we aspire to achieve.
