Tender Opportunity - NI Open Government Network Secretariat Function

The NI Open Government Network is a loose alliance of individual citizens and representatives of voluntary/community organisations aiming to engage in dialogue with the NI Executive to advocate for more open government.

The network’s vision is that government be more transparent, participatory and accountable to the people it serves.

The network aims to use the international Open Government Partnership as a vehicle to achieve this vision and is making links with similar civil society networks in the rest of the UK and Ireland.

The role of the Secretariat will be to support the OGN Steering Committee and members in the delivery of their action plan over a 24 month period, including the following:

• Research into international best practice in open government

• Event organisation and management

• Facilitating effective engagement between the OGN and government

• Marketing and communications

• Secretarial and administrative support to the OGN Steering Committee

• Financial management of the OGN’s budget for a 24 month period

 The Trust is not obliged to accept the lowest, or any, tender.
