Justice for Innocent Victims of Terrorism (J.I.V.T. Ltd) are seeking to recruit a bank of suitably qualified tutors / facilitators to fill various roles within the organisation.

Community Tutors / Facilitators

The work of tutors/facilitators will vary but will be specifically aimed at individuals who have been directly affected by the NI troubles.

The classes will take place in the North West Region of Northern Ireland, predominantly in Garvagh.

 

Tutors/Facilitators are required for the following topics:

Stress Management, Scrapbooking, Craft Classes, Memorial Quilting Project, Storytelling and Themed Digital Photography.    

 

Principle duties of post:

  1. Deliver series of structured sessions/lessons as directed by the organisation
  2. Support and encourage learners at all times
  3. Manage administration in accordance with requirements pertaining to roles and responsibilities.

Essential Criteria:

  1. Possession of relevant qualification where applicable
  2. Demonstrable experience teaching/taking classes in area of expertise (where no formal qualification is evident)
  3. Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a community setting, at least 1 of which must have been spent working with victims and survivors of terrorism.
