A Radio Ulster Appeal on behalf of Positive Life

Positive Life provides support for people living with, and affected by, HIV in Northern Ireland.

HIV is a virus which, over time, damages the human immune system. Whilst medical advances have improved the outlook for people affected by this condition, its effects are long-term and sometimes involve other life-changing challenges.

The charity's work includes advice, practical support and a confidential help and information line. It also helps people deal with feelings of fear and isolation and provides a rapid testing service for those who are concerned that they may have contracted HIV.
