Northern Ireland Hotels Federation have a ball in aid of Cancer Charity

The Northern Ireland Hotels Federation (NIHF) has donated a massive £3,500 from their annual ball to leading cancer charity Macmillan Cancer Support.

The Federation, along with President Ciaran O’Neill, chose Macmillan as its charity partner at this year’s Hospitality Exchange, raising thousands of pounds for local people affected by cancer.

Claire Brown, Corporate Fundraising Manager said:

“We were thrilled to be working in partnership with the Northern Ireland Hotels Federation. No-one should have to face cancer alone and with the support of organisations like NIHF, they won’t have to.  We would like to thank NIHF for choosing us as the charity at this year’s gala ball.”

President of the Northern Ireland Hotels Federation and operator of Bishop’s Gate Hotel in Derry-Londonderry, Ciaran O’Neill added:

“We were thrilled that fundraising undertaken at Hospitality Exchange on Wednesday 14th October generated £3,500 for Macmillan Cancer Support.  Over 300 representatives from the hospitality sector were in attendance at the gala ball and we appreciate their generosity. Funding makes a tangible difference to individuals coping with the impact of cancer on their lives.”
