The Impact of Poverty on Education and what can be done about it

Alan Dyson Professor of Education in the University of Manchester speaks at the Newry & Mourne Enterprise Agency’s Work4Uplus programmes reference group meeting, to raise awareness of the ‘Impact of Poverty on Education and what can be done about it’

The meeting was very well attended by a wide variety of primary and secondary referral partners and representative from the community, voluntary, public and private sector organisations,  Pauline Coghlan programme manager said “ The presentation given by Alan contained many interesting and stimulating insights to get the conversations flowing”
