A BBC Radio Ulster Appeal on behalf of RNIB NI

The Royal National Institute of Blind People in Northern Ireland (RNIB) supports anyone affected by sight loss.

Every week over 25 people in Northern Ireland start losing their sight but the RNIB is there to help. Whether you're blind or partially sighted, or recently diagnosed with a sight condition, the RNIB's practical and emotional support is there to help you face the future with confidence.

Volunteers are a much valued and essential part of the RNIB team. They make a huge contribution to the charity's work. They are actively involved in different activities - from supporting service delivery to fundraising. If you were able to give a little time then you could help RNIB NI to make a really big difference in peoples lives.
