Minimum DipHE in Youth & Community Work (or similar) and 2 years recent (post-qualifying) experience.
- The Youthworks project worker will have a key role in assisting in the development of key pieces of our work namely developmental programmes for young people, mentoring and promoting positive well-being.
- The project worker will have responsibility for developing a number of specific elements of the youth work plan over the life span of this initial contract.
- The project worker will have significant responsibility for developing necessary initiatives for young people in particular young females, other staff and volunteers and will support in the general development of the Monkstown Village Initiatives Strategy, reporting to the youth work coordinator.
- The duration of this position is until June 2016, with the potential of an extension, depending on funding.
