Youth Support Worker in charge

Qualifications and Experience Applicants must possess either:

1) a Certificate for Part-Time Youth Workers and a post-foundation (Curriculum and Practice) course certificate or

2) an OCR or OCN Introduction to Youth Work

 (including Programme  Development) or

3) an NVQ 3 in Youth Work or

4) a third level qualification in a related field (Educational, Social Services or

     Health).

Candidates should also have at least 2 year’s experience working with young people in an informal youth work setting.

Applicants must provide evidence, in application and at interview, of a recent intervention designed to address specific needs of young people.

The Selection Panel reserves the right to enhance the criteria in order to facilitate a manageable shortlist.
