  YI Fundraising Coordinator

Youth Initiatives NI is a Christian cross-community youth work organisation that aims to awaken hope, inspire initiative and mobilise young people to make a vital contribution to their community and to reconciliation in Northern Ireland, through the discovery and renewal of Christian faith in daily life. Youth Initiatives specialises in community-based outreach youth work and builds vibrant youth communities in areas of social need. The approach is long-term and relational to equip young people to overcome challenges, build resilience and become leaders in their communities.

We are looking for an experienced fundraiser to join our central office to direct and implement YI’s fundraising strategy that will enable Youth Initiatives to sustain and expand as a frontline youth work service provider. The post involves coordinating both regional and area-specific fundraising activities, in close collaboration with YI’s management team and 30 youth work staff & interns across 6 NI areas.

We are looking for a hard-working and effective fundraiser who will secure a range of income sources and effectively solicit donor support to enable the organisation accomplish its mission reaching some of Northern Irelands’ most at-risk young people. Youth Initiatives needs a Fundraising Coordinator who is passionate about professional youth work and Christian youth ministry, and represents our Core Values of Equality, Compassion, Excellence, Community, Leadership and Christian Perspective.

The post is 30 hours per week (4 days)
Salary: £22,500 - £25,000 p.a. (pro rata) – depending on experience and qualifications
