We provide high support to individuals with varying levels of learning disability in their own homes on an ‘as and when required’ basis. The shift requests can accommodate our needs as well as yours!
Working with people in their own homes and the community you will need a creative approach, actively enabling people to achieve a lifestyle of their choosing.
As a relief support worker you will work flexibly as hours are not guaranteed and hours may be offered at short notice to cover sickness/absence. Candidates must be willing to work flexibly on a rota basis which includes long and short, early, late and the occasional weekend and sleep-in or waking night shifts.
Experience is not as important as a willingness to learn and to see things from the point of view of the people we support. Full training will be provided. Good communication skills are essential as is IT literacy. An enhanced Access N.I. check is required for the successful candidates.
