Since then it has won and successfully delivered several major training programmes. With a staff team of 80+ it is now a major employer in its own right. As a result of continued growth and ongoing development they wish to appoint a suitably experienced QA Manager.

JOB SUMMARY

Our client has an excellent reputation for innovation and high – quality provision and are appointing a Quality Assurance Manager who will work closely with members of the company Programme Management team to design, develop and implement an audit framework, in adherence to ETI, Programme policies and standards, internal policies and procedures, and funding requirements.

 

KEY TASKS

Develop and maintain collaborative working activities between Network Personnel programmes

The Quality Manager will champion, support and lead quality improvement initiatives. He/she will be responsible for ensuring that all staff develop, and maintain their part of the quality management system.

Ensure that participant requirements and expectations have been accurately identified and that the organisation is meeting or exceeding participant expectations. 

Identify models of good practice and where appropriate, embed within the programmes

Identify relevant quality-related training needs and implement programmes to address these

Work in conjunction with Programme Management to establish qualitative and quantitative internal targets (KPI), monitoring performance by gathering relevant data (qualitative & quantitative) and producing statistical reports

Analyse & monitor measurable information data (KPI’s) for funders and quality standards, implementing bench-marking processes with other similar services.

Conduct internal audits for ETI quality assurance framework and report the findings, by conducting periodic internal reviews/audits to ensure that compliance procedures are followed

Identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation and together with Management, putting solutions in place to address them

Identifying and reporting to Management, staff CPD needs in relation to written policies and procedures, arranging training if required

Assist in compliance meetings with management/external bodies. Convening meetings with external stakeholders as and when required.

Evaluation of internal and external training, gathering reports and evaluative evidence from Facilitators, Participants and Management

Evaluate levels of service for participants and other stakeholders (e.g. one-one interviews/focus groups etc.) in all aspects of Programme delivery, identifying and implementing action points, as and when required

Contribute to the continual improvement of the Quality management system through adhering to the documented procedures and processes, and identifying improvements where possible.

Attend any meetings/conferences and participate in courses/training as recommended by line manager

Ensure compliance in all activities in accordance with the Company’s Equal Opportunities Policy.

Ensure that communication both verbal and written is clear, relevant and professional.

Undertake any other duties that are within the competence of the Quality Assurance Manager and conducive to the effective delivery of programmes

 

PERSONNEL SPECIFICATION

Essential Experience/Qualifications:

Level 3 qualification in Advice & Guidance, Mentoring, Counselling, Coaching, Education (or other relevant discipline)

ICT qualification, including all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Internet & Email etc.)

Strong managerial experience, skills and experience (including compilation of accurate and timely reports)

It is crucial to be driven, passionate and committed to quality improvement, and can instil this in others.

Proven experience of interpreting and evidencing quality/standards in accordance with funding frameworks/expectations

Proven experience of maintaining quality management systems and/or quality report writing (e.g. IQRS/ETI, IIP)

Experience of working to and understanding Safeguarding legislation, policies and procedures (Vulnerable Adults and/or Children)

Understanding and experience of delivering training, completing assessments and supporting participants and learners with varying levels of ability

 

Skills/Abilities:

Essential:

                     Excellent written and oral communication skills (with competence in public speaking)

                     Ability to motivate and provide advocacy to others (demonstrating strong interpersonal skills)

                     Using own initiative, working positively within a team and building good working relationships

                     Being respectful and understanding in approach to dealing with colleagues and other organisations

                     Excellent organisational and time management skills

                     Information management and report writing

Circumstances

Essential:

                     Ability to work flexible hours (as/when required)

                     Willingness to undertake training required for the post.

                     Subject to Enhanced Access NI clearance

                     Full UK driving licence with access to transport appropriate for the post
