Positive Futures provides community-based services for people with a learning disability and their families. We have a reputation for innovation and getting things done and have just received an award to provide a new service in the Lisburn and North Down areas under the Big Lottery Fund’s Reaching Out: Connecting Older People Programme.
‘Strengthening Carers: Building Futures’ is a three-year project which will support older carers of people with a learning disability. It will work to improve the physical and mental health of older carers; reduce their isolation; help them and their wider families to plan for the future; develop emergency support plans and initiate new, more appropriate service models.

Salary - £14,574 per annum pro rata
Part Time - 18.5 hours per week
Temporary Contract - 3 years fixed term
