MACS Supporting Young People are looking to recruit a Project Manager for the Supported Housing Service (Move in to Move On).
The Supported Housing Service (Move in to Move On) provides accommodation and Housing related support to young people leaving care to make the transition to interdependent living and their own tenancy. The Service delivers high quality support to young people aged 16-21. Staff practice to a case work model which emphasises ongoing assessment, support planning and working with risk. This work is complemented by a range of group work supports and interventions. Young people are accommodated at one site, in single unit self contained flats in south Belfast. This Service is provided in partnership with Supporting People, the Belfast Trust and South Eastern Trust.
You will be based at the Supported Housing site at 14-20 University Street, Belfast (in the Botanic Area)
Hours of Employment:
This is a residential project. 35 hours per week (shift work).
Shifts include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Shift patterns may be subject to change.
Provision of On Call support and residential is also required.
Essential Criteria:
- Degree in Social Work or Degree in Youth and Community Work
- Three years full-time experience of working with at risk young people aged 16-25
- Two years experience of managing and supervising staff
- Two years experience of project management and development
OR
- Five years full-time experience of working with at risk young people aged 16-25
- Two years experience of managing and supervising staff
- Two years experience of project management and development
AND
- A full current driving licence and access to a car is required so as to be able to meet the requirements of the post in full.
Salary: £29,759 per annum with pension at 4%
