The Volunteer Centre secured funding to deliver a Carefully Yours project throughout the Mid Ulster area. The overarching aim of Carefully Yours is to develop a comprehensive programme for the wellbeing of older people.
Due to administrative issues we have had to re-advertise the post of Project Leader. Please note there is a new application and the criteria may have changed.
Project Leader
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £22,937
Location: InVOLve House, Queen Street, Magherafelt
Funded until 31 March 2016
Summary
The Project Leader will develop a comprehensive programme for the wellbeing of older people to include those in the early stages of dementia, providing support for caregivers whilst creating awareness of the risk presented to older people.
Cookstown and Magherafelt Volunteer Centre believes that empowerment is key to improving health and wellbeing as it is fundamentally about increasing individuals and communities control over their lives and their health.
